It seems like no one is working on that ebuild anymore. You may want to try my new ebuild for iiimf and related files at http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28272. At the very least, it compiles.
is this problem valid anymore with current autoconf and gcc? if there are no problems please close this bug
