Can you look if stdargs.h and varargs.h are on your system?
On mine, they are in
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2/include/

but this depends on your host and gcc-version.

Can you try if the same error appears with 0.5.18?

beryllium include #  find /usr -type f -regex '.*\(varargs.h\|stdarg.h\)'
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2/include/varargs.h
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2/include/stdarg.h

0.5.18 merges successful.

I've now commited 0.5.18 as stable.
So your issue should be fixed now because it only appears in 0.5.13.
