I recently upgraded to waimea-0.4.0 and now pixmaps in the title bars and menus won't work. I get a blank white space where the pixmap should be. It worked before, I have no clue what's wrong :(
Created attachment 6438 [details] A screenshot to illustrate what I'm talking about There should be pixmaps on the title areas of the windows and menus.
any luck in fixing your bug? I have heard of no other compliants :)
No :( Maybe I'm special?
are you using a new config file? the problem is almost definatly in your custom theme. i've been using waimea a long time, and the problem is that some themes get b0rk3d between versions. try starting off with the decade theme. (i started there, now i won't use it =)) modify it from there. or check www.waimea.org for other themes. let me know if this is a help
btw, if this doesn't fix your problem you might want to try waimea-cvs i have that ebuild in http://cvs.gentoo.org/~sethbc =)
Okay, tried the Decade theme with no go, tried waimea-cvs with no go, started reading over the messages from ./configure and noticed this: [SNIP] checking for XRRSelectInput in -lXrandr... no ** WARNING: Could not find XRRSelectInput in -lXrandr ** WARNING: Disabled Xrandr extension support [SNIP] checking for imlib_create_image in -lImlib2... no ** WARNING: Could not find imlib_create_imaget in -lImlib2 ** WARNING: Disabled pixmap support [SNIP] So I did an "emerge imlib imlib2" and all is well. Running this also installed freetype-1.3.1 (I'd noticed earlier that I only had freetype 2 installed for some reason) so I guess I needed that too. Probably should have read over those messages before this point ;)
