Description Patrick McLean gentoo-dev 2006-01-24 08:46:09 UTC
sys-apps/qpage-3.3 has been in ~x86 and ~alpha for well over a year with no bugs or changes, I would imagine that it can be stabilized.

base-system: what do you think?

doesnt matter to me
Comment 2 Ian Leitch (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-24 11:47:00 UTC
Builds fine on x86, no means of testing though.

qpage-3.3-hostinfo.patch

When compiling on alpha w/USE="tcpd" I get the following warning:
srvrsnpp.c: In function `accept_connection':
srvrsnpp.c:1064: warning: passing arg 1 of `eval_hostinfo' from incompatible pointer type

The pointer types are incompatible because eval_hostinfo expects a host_info pointer but gets a pointer to the 1st (and only) element of a host_info array.

This patch fixes the warning.

I tested qpage on alpha and x86 with the snpp server at Rinkers Communications[1] and the messages went through just fine. I only tested sending as I don't have access to a paging terminal to test the server.
