Works fine here. Also, emerge --info missing.

works fine here
Comment 7 Sandro Bonazzola (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-25 11:13:20 UTC
I've tried to emerge aumix on the same system linux32 chrooted, as ~x86 it emerge fine. Under ~amd64 gives the already reporte error.

Patch for adding missing autotools config files

Same for x86

Attached a patch fixing the problem
Comment 9 Paul Goeser 2006-05-11 06:38:56 UTC
media-sound/aumix-2.8-r4 still has the same error here. The patch did not help.
Comment 10 Frank Brandt 2006-06-20 04:11:00 UTC
I can confirm that the bug is still there - the patch didn't made into portage. When doing a manual './configure && aclocal && automake -a && automake --gnu --include-deps Makefile' in the work directory everything works - so the patch is ok. So pleeeeease include this patch and name it -r5 or take this build out of portage or at least mask the current r4!
Comment 11 Alexis Ballier gentoo-dev 2007-02-06 07:18:29 UTC
Is this one still valid ?
I have no problem emerging aumix here with the current ebuild in portage.
Isn't it a confcache problem ?
