Description Piotr Malinski 2006-01-23 08:57:32 UTC
php-qt (http://php-qt.berlios.de) are qt4 bindings for PHP5. The project is in alfa/developement stage but the current code is quite stable. php-qt in portage would atract more testers and developers to the project.

php-qt Ebuild

It works but it should check if qt4 was emerged with +accessibility flag. (without it it won't build)
Comment 2 Piotr Malinski 2006-01-23 09:07:57 UTC
and it should be placed in /dev-php5 :)
Comment 3 Sebastian Bergmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-23 10:20:36 UTC

Do you have qt-4.1.0-r2 with accessibility flag?
Comment 6 Sebastian Bergmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-23 10:36:29 UTC
[ebuild R ] x11-libs/qt-4.1.0-r2 USE="cups gif jpeg mng opengl png zlib -accessibility -debug -doc -examples -firebird -mysql -nas -nis -odbc -postgres -sqlite -xinerama" 0 kb
Comment 7 Sebastian Bergmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-24 00:02:25 UTC
I added a cleaned-up version of the ebuild to our overlay at http://svn.gnqs.org/projects/gentoo-php-overlay/file/experimental/dev-php5/php-qt/php-qt-0.0.2.ebuild.

+accessibility is required for php-qt, recompile qt with this flag
Comment 9 Sebastian Bergmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-24 02:11:55 UTC
Did you actually look at the new ebuild mentioned in comment #7?

  pkg_setup() {
    pkg="`best_version '=x11-libs/qt-4*'`"
    if ! built_with_use =${pkg} accessibility ; then
      die "You need to re-emerge x11-libs/qt with USE=accessibility."
    fi
  }

The new ebuild builds fine for me (after re-emerging x11-libs/qt with USE=accessibility, of course).
Comment 10 Sebastian Bergmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-30 03:26:29 UTC
dev-php5/php-qt is in the official tree now.
