!!! Digest verification Failed:
!!! /var/tmp/portage/gamess-05272005.5/distdir/gamess-05272005.5.tar.gz
!!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size
!!! Got: 6378727
!!! Expected: 10120371

Tried downloading it a couple times in a couple different ways, it's always 6.1M, not the 10 it expects.

Hmm...strange!

I just downloaded it again from the gamess website and it looks
fine

[markus@fenris] md5sum gamess-current.tar.Z
09e83e9ccccf78b2f37ac7c382e32193 gamess-current.tar.Z
[markus@fenris] ls -la gamess-current.tar.Z
-rw-r--r-- 1 markus markus 10120371 Jan 22 20:13 gamess-current.tar.

Are you sure that you have the proper revision (R5) and your browser
hasn't cached a previous version and just popped it in place since the
file name is the same? You can check in the file gamess/source/gamess.src
around line 550 and it should say "GAMESS VERSION = 27 JUN 2005 (R5)".

Thanks,
Markus

    einfo "Please download ${PN}-current.tar.gz from"

Look at the file extension.

Wow :(

Thanks for catching that, I made a note for myself to make sure that
this doesn't happen again. I could swear that the .gz link was
always at the top. Well...

Fixed in CVS.

best,
Markus
