Description Damien 2006-01-22 09:41:47 UTC
Had ntp package installed and was presented with check box for syncing the time to a ntp server. If I unmerge the ntp package the check box available in the 'adjust date/time' context menu of the kicker clock applet (labelled 'set date and time automatically' disappears as well as the drop down box allowing the server selection. The issue is that the spinners that would normally allow the manual setting of the date/time is still disabled.

Steps to reproduce:
install ntp as well as kde-3.5.
Use the clock in kicker to adjust the date and time.
select the 'Set date and time automatically' check box and set a server.
unmerge ntp.

Expected result:
When ntp has been unmerged the set date/time control would realise and automatically re-enable manual setting of the date and time.

Thanks for the pointer Arno. Minor issue, tracking the upstream bug.
