Please test sim-0.9.4_pre060114.ebuild. sim had ~ppc keyword in the past. But it was not maintained for a long time, masked, new ebuild written and now it's again in portage. But there were rather big changes in app, so I'd like to be sure that it's possible at least emerge and then start it on ppc before adding ~ppc KEYWORD. Thank you :)
Not having good luck with running sim on ppc -- compiled fine, but it likes to segfault before even trying to connect. Thank you Wormo for testing. I've reported about this issue upstream. So either they'll fix this or I'll have to drop ppc support in sim :(
Wormo. Bug you reported was fixed by upstream and new sim-0.9.4_pre060131 has fix inside. Please, can you or somebody from ppc team retest sim? Thank you.
