I can insert all the shapes in the stars toolbar on the drawing bar with the exception of the 6-point star, the 12-point star, the 6-point concave star, Signet, and the Doorplate. The problem is always reproducible i.e. I just have to open any openoffice program and start using the drawing bar. Here is a screenshot of the problem: http://www.muishkin.com/oodraw2.png The blue resizing squares still appear after I inserted the problematic shape but the shape is not actually there i.e. if I right/left click on any part of document those blue resizing squares disappear and the document is blank again. I posted this bug on openoffice's issuezilla but so far no one running genoto has responded. CFLAGS="-O2 -march=pentium4"

Can't reproduce this, all shapes work fine for me :/
We had a silent update in the patchset of OOo recently. Could you try to rebuild (emerge sync before) and see if the problem still is there?

Great! Thanks for reporting back!
