Description Steve 2006-01-17 09:02:15 UTC
This version fixes all known issues in the 1.9.1 release, please bump. ;)
Comment 1 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-17 09:24:44 UTC
Please use "New -> Gentoo Linux -> Component: Ebuilds" in future. Infrastructure is not the correct addressee.
Comment 2 Steve 2006-01-21 06:54:26 UTC
Moving to correct location.

Early ebuild for mod_security-1.9.2

I've bumped the ebuild for 1.9.1 to 1.9.2. As I don't know how to pass arguments to the apxs command I haven't been able to activate the new libpcre support explained here: http://www.modsecurity.org/blog/archives/2005/12/massive_perform.html

I found this in the mod_security manual, it may be of some help:
# <apache-home>/bin/apxs -cia mod_security.c

there's a working ebuild over there... attached ;)

to sum up the relevant proposed changes:

mod_security-1.9.4.ebuild could be used nicely, if the MY_P variable gets a
little tuning, due to source-file name change:

MY_P="${P/mod_security-/modsecurity-apache_}"

should be the now correct MY_P line for version 1.9.4: (only the "-" and "_")
need adding to the present 1.9.2.ebuild...
