Description Christoph Hösler 2006-01-17 02:49:32 UTC
After emerging mt-daapd-0.2.3 successfully it did not start, because it was unable to find /usr/local/lib/libgdbm.2.dylib.
I have gdbm-1.8.3-r2 installed, so I made a symlink to /usr/lib/libgdbm.3.0.0.dylib and now it works.
Comment 1 Christoph Hösler 2006-01-17 02:53:29 UTC
See resolution above.
Comment 2 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2006-01-17 04:38:01 UTC
that's no solution.

Flameeyes do you have an idea why it looks in /usr/local?
Comment 3 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-17 05:20:47 UTC
I see that if the original comment is right, the soname changed, probably /usr/local/lib is the last try and that's reported.
Comment 4 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2008-03-03 19:53:10 UTC
this is a wrong linking problem.
