Hi all, After having successfully run a couple of Gentoo systems for around a year, I ran into the following problem when trying to update: chris@top etc $ sudo emerge -av system These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating system dependencies - !!! Cannot resolve a virtual package name to an ebuild. !!! This is a bug, please report it. (virtual/libintl-0) I have no idea where to start on resolving this one. I tried to switch profile to 2005.1, but emerge sync does not work: [...] >>> Starting retry 3 of 3 with rsync://134.68.220.73/gentoo-portage >>> checking server timestamp ... Welcome to raven.gentoo.org [...] receiving file list ... 134417 files to consider ./ app-admin/ [...] net-misc/asterisk/files/ io timeout after 180 seconds - exiting rsync error: timeout in data send/receive (code 30) at io.c(109) net-misc/nxclient/files/ [...] xfce-extra/ rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (3065756 bytes read so far) rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(189) It seems that your servers are closing the connection after 180 seconds idle, and that is not enough time for me to complete the sync?
