When clicking links in external applications (Gaim, XChat, etc.), if that URL has a comma in it, Firefox ignores everything after the first comma. I have tried both mozilla-firefox-bin and building mozilla-firefox. A simple test: $ firefox "http://www.phorum.org/phorum5/read.php?12,52928". Watching the LiveHTTP Headers extension, I see that FF actually requests http://www.phorum.org/phorum5/read.php?12 This did not happen with 1.0.7
FWIW, I tried the binaries from mozilla.com and I have the same problem. So, I guess this should be reported to Mozilla? Or could it still be a Gentoo issue?
Upstream issue, I am already tracking bug upstream soon as they fix we will fix source atleast.

FWIW, if I run: /opt/firefox/firefox http://www.example.com/index.php?1,2,3,4 all works fine. Its only when using the shell scripts in /usr/bin that I have a problem. For the time being, I have changed the files in /usr/bin to symlinks to /opt/firefox/firefox
