Description Ashu Tiwary 2006-01-15 09:37:24 UTC
i just did my standard daily "emerge -v sync" followed by "emerge -vNDuf world ; emerge -vNDup world" - the latter fail with:

==========
Calculating world dependencies |
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "=x11-libs/libdockapp-0.5.0-r1".
(dependency required by "x11-plugins/wmail-2.0-r2" [ebuild])

Calculating world dependencies \
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "=x11-libs/libdockapp-0.5.0-r1".
(dependency required by "x11-plugins/wmlpq-0.2.1-r1" [ebuild])
==========

(of course, i had to remove the wmail then run "emerge -vNDuf world ; emerge -vNDup world" to get the second error message - and then remove wmlpq to progress further beyond that).

either the ebuilds for these packages need to be updated w/ x11-libs/libdockapp-0.6.0 or the ebuild for x11-libs/libdockapp-0.5.0-r1 need to be added back in.

my emerge info:

(most of my use flags are package specific and resident in /etc/portage/package.use; applicable ones are:
==========
ashu@liberte ~ $ grep -E "x11-plugins/wmail|x11-plugins/wmlpq|x11-libs/libdockapp" /etc/portage/package.use
x11-libs/libdockapp
x11-plugins/wmail
x11-plugins/wmlpq
==========
i.e.: no additional use flags for these packages.
