etheral 0.9.8 is out, simply copy the 0.9.7-r1 ebuild to the new version...

its in portage, but I removed gtk2 support as it seems broken with the version
we use....maybe it can get hacked back in at some point

it is not broken... if you open the preferences and select a new font, it is OK.
 it seems that the default font is not present.

I'm using it with the gtk2 interface and I don't have any problem.
