Description Ivo Bellin Salarin 2006-01-14 03:42:05 UTC
When I install libusb package I get the following message:

QA Notice: the following files contain executable stacks
Files with executable stacks will not work properly (or at all!)
on some architectures/operating systems. A bug should be filed
at http://bugs.gentoo.org/ to make sure the file is fixed.
   --- --- RWX usr/lib/libusbpp-0.1.so.4.4.2
   --- --- RWX usr/lib/libusb-0.1.so.4.4.2

The built package was:
[ebuild R ] dev-libs/libusb-0.1.10a -debug +doc 0 kB
and I use it for gphoto2.

I have to say that I'm not able to configure my camera because gphoto2 doesn't recognize it, even if it is listed in the gphoto2-available-cameras.

What should I do to get my camera working?
I have posted this bug as suggested by libusb-ebuild.. And because I run Gentoo on PPC.

Completely different issue, file a new bug if you think that's it's a bug and not misconfiguration.
