Comment 1 Errikos Pitsos 2006-01-12 13:05:09 UTC
somehow uninstalling the old mozilla-thunderbird package didn't delete the /usr/lib/mozilla-thunderbird directory. manually deleting it and then re-emerging mozilla-thunderbird-1.5 fixes the problem.

as said in the 1.5 release notes, those dirs have to be completely removed otherwise there will be probs.

cheers

I had have the same error and the removal of the directory solved this issue.

Is this still an issue with 1.5.0.9? Please reopen if so.
