Description Jory A. Pratt 2006-01-11 23:29:33 UTC
As I did with firefox-1.5 we have dropped all keywords for all archs. This is due to major changes that could throw archs under the bus (sparc). Please test thunderbird-1.5 and enigmail and keyword as soon as possible. Sooner this is done sooner we can look forward to getting 1.5 to stable in 30 days.
Comment 1 Gustavo Zacarias (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-12 17:03:17 UTC
Looks ok on sparc at first, but looking at some html mail with images enabled crashes it eventually.
Comment 2 Philippe Trottier (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-13 06:00:01 UTC
I am using it on Remote sparc too,
but I do not view any html in emails. OpenGPG Seems to does work fine.

On ppc32 it seems to compile fine and I am going to use it for the next few days.

Comment 3 nixnut (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-14 10:31:22 UTC
fails to build on my ppc.

As Gustavo mentioned in comment #2, thunderbird-1.5 is crash-happy on SPARC. Dies with bus errors like firefox-1.5

thunderbrid-1.5-r3.strace

This has the same problem on alpha as firefox 1.5... 100% CPU usage and the main window never comes up.
Comment 8 Jory A. Pratt 2006-04-25 16:22:51 UTC
Alpha and sparc open bug reports with problem if not already open. Thank You.
