hylafax-4.2.3-notify-eval-vulnerability.patch criples /var/spool/fax/bin/notify, so email notification does not work any more.
Postfix complains to:
postfix/sendmail] fatal: No recipient addresses found in message header

this issue has been solved in hylafax-4.2.5

Yes, it's a bug in the faxrcvd and notify scripts. Replacing those by the ones from 4.2.5 corrects the problem.

hmm... next time I should look at bugs.gentoo.org _before_ I try to solve the problem by myself and wasting a couple of hours...
Works like a charm, now (after update to 4.2.5).

4.3.1 is in the tree, and 4.2.3 is gone, so closing...
