Description Tony Sohn 2006-01-10 03:02:42 UTC
After emerging acroread-7.0.5, acroread seems to take very long (>1 min) to load. Deleting ~/.adobe/Acrobat/7.0/Cache/UnixFnt07.lst temporarily solves the problem, but that file keeps getting generated. acroread-7.0.1.1 doesn't have this problem.

Some other people are experiencing the same problem:

I don't see what we could fix here. Complain to Adobe, please.

for me it helped to create an empty

~/.adobe/Acrobat/7.0/Cache/UnixFnt07.lst

file
