Please, any bugs found on ipkungfu-0.6.0 should also be submitted to grasshopper@linuxkungfu.org, ufs@ufsoft.org, or even better, http://ipkungfu.ufsoft.org

Fixes for 0.6.0 ebuild

Here are some updates for that ebuild.

* SRC_URI was wrong (.bz2 should be .gz)

* keyword fix (change x86 to ~x86)

* fix spelling errors

* clarified notice about configuration changes.

Why wrong, both packages existed last time I checked. Does Gentoo prefer gz over bz2?

Comment 6 Andy Dustman 2006-01-17 19:29:58 UTC
I initially tried your ebuild without changes and I thought I got a 404 on the .bz2. It does seem to work at the moment, however. I have no objections to using .bz2, though their main link is for the .gz, and Gentoo preferentially uses .bz2. Originally I was modifying one my old ebuilds from 0.6.0_alpha2 which was never in Portage, and was using the .gz version.

You mean our main link ;)

If you analyse a bit ufs@sapo.pt(me) is ufs@ufsoft.org, one of the devs, and from now on we build both .gz and .bz2, so choose wichever is better for Gentoo.

Id like if you could, re-read comment #3, ie, do submit any found bugs to our dev site http://ipkungfu.ufsoft.org or mail it to Rocco or me, both mails are on that comment, so we can fix it.

Thanks for the attention.
