Comment 3 Hannes Mehnert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-12-13 18:32:48 UTC
qtcups is outdated and unmaintained: http://cups.sourceforge.net/ ;)
seems like qtcups only works with xft-1, not xft2, so we should depend
on !x11-libs/xft? or just remove qtcups ebuild?
Comment 4 Seth Chandler 2002-12-17 00:43:39 UTC
uh i guess its depracated b/c of kde printing...punt it?
Comment 5 Hannes Mehnert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-12-17 09:32:24 UTC
once xft is unmask (or now) qtcups should depend on !x11-libs/xft.
Comment 6 Hannes Mehnert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-01-06 04:53:37 UTC
well, xft is now unmasked.
this is a qt-2.3.2 issue, no qtcups. added !x11-libs/xft to depend of qt-2.3.2-r2.ebuild.
thanks.

about qtcups: as long as we have qt-2 and kde-2 in portage, we can keep qtcups.
