Hi, I realise this is a relatively new package, but I thought I'd give it a try out and see how it worked. I haven't been able to make a connection out yet using it and I'm assuming this is because it doesn't support proxies. I couldn't locate any mention of them in either the source or the man page. It would be best if the bugger could support the standard http_proxy environment variable, or at the least have a configuration option for it. I'm assuming emerge info isn't necessary for this bug, but if it would help post back here and I'll provide it at once. If there are any other questions or comments, or ebuilds/scripts to test that can help resolve this bug quickly, let me know and I'll be happy to try them out for you. Thanks...
this bug really belongs over on my sf page for bugger, not in gentoo (since this isn't a bug with the building/ebuild). that said...proxy support...never even entered my mind. i'm trying to think of ways of implementing, coming short...would have to look into this futher...
fwiw, this should be doable. if i can get my cvs access on sf working again, i could have something up pretty fast (just another call to mechanize)
Hi, I was just clearing through my old bugs and found this one. If you're doing it all on sourceforge do you want me to mark this as later or something, and then track the progress from there? I don't know much Perl, but if there's anything I can do to help out with it (testing, etc), lemme know and I'll be happy to help. Thanks!
bugger has been killed upstream, sorry
