Description Michal Suchanek 2006-01-07 05:15:58 UTC
Since I use ImageMagick anyway, I wanted to use it instead of wmsetbg (ie to scale an image to the largest square that fits into the screen, and display that in the middle of the root window).
There is -geometry, -window, -backdrop, and -resize. It sould be sufficient for the job. The description for backdrop says that it should display the image in the middle of the backdrop. But I see either backdrop or the image but not both.
Looks like backdrop is broken or it works in a different way than the description suggests (which would render the help broken).
