ticho - check around, there's a fix for this calling the perl-(module|app) eclass and invoking one of the doc functions

I would humbly suggest that this bug could be about perllocal.pod, and/or equery, and/or collision-protect. Any one, two, or all three of those could be in error. Gaim and obexftp /may/ just be innocent bystanders.
Can you try merging obexftp-0.18 after next tree resync to see if it's fixed? I've added a call to fixlocalpod from perl-module.eclass
