Description Schricker 2006-01-04 04:59:08 UTC
Hi!

Emerging evince fails with

checking for LIB... checking for BACKEND... checking for FRONTEND_CORE... configure: error: Package requirements (gtk+-2.0 >= 2.6.0 libgnomeui-2.0 >= 2.6.0 libglade-2.0 poppler-glib >= 0.4.1) were not met.

and I found that poppler-glib was missing.

Emerging poppler-bindings fixed this, so I guess it needs to be moved from RDEPEND to DEPEND?

regards,
Florian

Oops - had a bad ebuild in my overlay for evince.
Sorry!
Comment 2 Tim Heinrich 2006-01-16 10:37:39 UTC
Hmm, no ebuild in overlay, but same error. Some update seems to have broken evince. It worked fine, but now it doesn't start anymore. Error:

evince: error while loading shared libraries: libpoppler-glib.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

If I try to reemerge evince I get the error Florian described.
