Description Christian Mandery 2006-01-03 17:14:53 UTC
Tor 0.1.0.16 has been released recently.
We should now provide an ebuild instead of waiting for the new ebuild in the other bugreport.

Using the 0.1.0.14-r1 ebuild worked for me for 0.1.0.15, so I guess it should work with 0.1.0.16 too as there are no real changes in the Tor structure, only bugfixes and small tweaks.

Already in portage.
Comment 2 Christian Mandery 2006-01-13 13:07:51 UTC
I think, the alpha versions of Tor should be in Portage too because there was a critical bug found a few days ago (which reveals the identity of owners of hidden services) and this one is only fixed in the alpha tree.

As I can see, bumping the ebuild should work but I can't try it right here on this computer.

I have no clue what are you talking about, anyway - open a new bug if it's a security issue, otherwise we won't put alpha versions into portage.
