This applet shows the current CPU temperature and frequency. Would be nice to have it in portage.

Works like a charm here. We defintely need a maintainer and that app should be added to portage soon ;)

Created attachment 95305 [details] cpuinfo-0.5.ebuild new version, new server, fixed workdir-path
Hi everyone I've committed a new ebuild (rewritten from scratch) to the gentoo-sunrise overlay. Available directly here: http://gentoo-sunrise.org/svn/reviewed/kde-misc/cpuinfo/ or via the overlay (with layman for example). People with AMD64: Please test the package and add a comment whether it works. I'll then add ~amd64 to the KEYWORDS.
Compiles and works without any problem on ~amd64 system. Let me know if you need more info.
maybe its my box, but other ebuilds are working # ebuild cpuinfo-0.5.ebuild digest Appending /usr/local/portage to PORTDIR_OVERLAY... !!! /usr/local/portage does not seem to have a valid PORTDIR structure.
I just checked the 0.5.1 ebuild from the gentoo-sunrise overlay (http://gentoo-sunrise.org/svn/reviewed/kde-misc/cpuinfo/cpuinfo-0.5.1.ebuild) this one workes flawless should I attach it here?
Created attachment 104452 [details] kima-0.6.ebuild cpuinfo is now known as kima. I modified the ebuild (just a couple of lines). It worked on my ~x86 system.
Tried it on my ~x86 - system. Works without any problems.
Guh, I didn't see this bug, well, I suppose I can assign this to myself and close it now :)
Okay so it's in portage now already :)
Hi, do you know why the ebuild in portage has only ~amd64 keyword?
