Description Francisco Ares 2006-01-03 03:30:50 UTC
after emerging OpenOffice 2.0.0 I've noticed that there's no support for those old StarOffice 5.2 file formats (sdw, sdc, sda, ...).

I've tried to find USE flags, and even EXTRA-ECONF flags that I could use to get that support, but could not find none.

I would like to build my own OpenOffice, but for now I think I'll use the binary package that, as the user PowerFactor (http://forums.gentoo.org/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=13336) posted on the foruns, it works for those file formats.

That's right I stripped this out, as I didn't think anyone is still needing that (and the code adds considerably to the build time and is quite buggy). But if there a really people who need it, I'll put it back in (through a local use flag)

So: You really need this? ;)

:D unfortunately, at least until I convince everybody here to switch to OpenOffice

Thanks!!

I've add this now, to get it you will have to specify the local use-flag "binfilter". Closing
