Comment 2 Matthias Sch. 2006-01-03 04:29:37 UTC
Ok, when you install phpSysInfo-2.5.1 with emerge, all went fine, but phpsysinfo shows UNKNOWN instead of GENTOO... in distro name...
take a look here: http://80.121.207.10/phpsysinfo

i think there is the distros.ini file missing...

No, there isn't a file missing, neither is Gentoo missing in distros.ini

Files = "/etc/gentoo-release"
</snip>

Most likely, your php is set the way that it cannot access /etc/gentoo-release (open_basedir, safe mode issues, etc.)

no, my php is the default installation which comes with emerge phpsysinfo
it worked with a release before 2.5.1...

# find / | grep distros.ini
produces no output... i cant find the distros.ini in my whole filesystem...

thist happend to now 3 completely new installed servers (i installed other servers before with a older release the same way and there it works...)

-r1 in CVS, thanks.
Comment 6 Bjarke Istrup Pedersen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-03 18:09:47 UTC
Well, now index.php doesn't get installed .
Reopening...
Comment 7 Renat Lumpau (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-03 19:05:49 UTC
-r2 should fix that.
