Description Russ Pridemore 2005-12-29 10:19:25 UTC
Summary pretty much says it all. I upgraded Apache webserver from a recent version (not sure now which, but it was 2.0.x) yesterday. Noticed today that directory listings, etc. are not showing the standard icons for files, folders, etc. Checked the filesystem and the directory is still there, but only contains the couple of images I put there manually.

As of apache 2.0.58, we no longer use gentoo-webroot-default (which is what caused the missing icons). Please upgrade to apache 2.0.58 and then run the emerge --config command that is listed at the end of the build to get your icons back.

Incorrect. 2.0.58 was committed just before I made my previous comment. If you do not see it, emerge --sync and try again. Note that it is not "stable" yet, as it's still marked ~x86. To use it you will have to add the following to /etc/portage/package.keywords:
