Steps to reproduce: 1. Have a portage tree with a conflicting package configuration in it. (i.e. sys-apps/pmount not "x86"-keyworded for kde-3.5) 2. Run revdep-rebuild (i.e. due to a notrivial gcc update - revdep-rebuild --library libstd++.so.5) 3. everting works fine till to the order evaluation (where emerge -e is used) emerge -e shows up with an error, but revdep-rebuild just gets an empty order Expected result: Showing that error stright away.
