When Entrace is started by xdm as default level daemon, it prints a line saying (hand copy: likely to b espellings out there) entranced: main: display number is 0 entraced_ipc_init: Success Even when those line does make sens for C coders, I claim that to be garbage because it comes out ( at least on my computer) after the login prompt, thus as 'off topic' stuff when I am about to enter my login inconsole. Plus, due to the prompt programm, the output comes shifted with a new line WITHOUT cariage return. I Think it is rather a trivial fix for the ebuild whith patches instalaltion of Entraced into the xdm init script. I dont have skills to submit patch.
