Description Joe Jezak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-25 21:49:04 UTC
As suggested by bug #66619, many PowerPC machines have the option of powering on after a power failure. This FAQ patch gives instructions on how to use this.

Did you want some feedback about that or are you waiting for someone to commit?

BTW, the following
  <uri link="#wakeon">
    How can I make my Mac power up after a power failure?
  </uri>
would insert leading & trailing spaces in the link.

Nah, I was away from my computer when I made the bug, it was more of a self reminder. I'll apply it now that I'm back on broadband.

Most of the links in the PPC faq are done like that, I don't see any extra spaces on those links. If it's wrong, I'll fix it on all of the links.

Are you sure? I thought that SGML explicitly says to ignore any whitespace immediately after opening tag and before closing tag. If there's a bug in some browser or XML program then it should probably be filed to that program's developers, I think. [Sorry for the mildly off-topic spam tho']

Committed. Please let me know if the uri tags are an issue, but I'm pretty sure they're not.
