Kernel n_hdlc support (under non-standard serial ports - modules is fine) is
required for the Alcatel USB modem. If you add it to the kernel / modules, it
will make installing with an Alcatel USB modem possible - with a bit of mucking
around but anyway possible...

OK, module will be on all livecds built after Dec 10 2002; closing bug and

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
