Description gad.kadosh 2005-12-24 03:57:41 UTC
I'm using gnome-2.12 and gnome-volume-manager-1.5.4. Like in previous versions of gnome gnome-volume-manager should be started as a deamon by gnome-session or something, but it doesn't. In the Removable Drivers and Media preferences the auto mounting stuff are enabled - and once I start that preferences window the daemon starts up - but it's not normal that I should run the prefs every time I log in to my session.

You need to save your session in order to have it run on login. This is an upstream issue.
