start xmms:

$ xmms
Message: device: hw:2,0
Message: fmt 5, channels: 2

(thats alsa stuff),

then in an other console, enqueu some directories:

xmms -e /home/mp3/

then in first console comes after about 3s:

Segmentation fault

and 5 to 10s later, window closes.

Also happens exactly same when using the list editor, and the menu '+dir'

try removing all plugins and re-install xmms

I'm unable to reproduce this error. After starting xmms I ran "xmms -e /home/tcort/music" in another gnome-terminal and it worked for me. Do you still have this problem after removing all of the plugins and re-emerge'ing xmms? If so, what plugins do you have installed and which of them are enabled?
