Description Vadim Konovalov 2005-12-23 08:00:00 UTC
Reading docs at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/colinux-howto.xml , I see several points that are outdated:

I.

 Will coLinux work with the 2.6 kernel? At the present time, no, it uses a 2.4

II.
 Code Listing 4.3: Add to /etc/fstab
 /dev/cobd1	none	swap	sw	0 0

now those are rather /dev/cobd/1

III. "coLinux is still pretty alpha" is also questionable

I did not re-read very closely, and probably copying better information from http://wiki.colinux.org/cgi-bin will be good;

The guide was written in 2004 and since then didn't have any content updates. Therefore i marked it as "obsolete" and i think about removing it for good. We could use some colinux doc though, so if you're willing to fix the whole guide to be update with the newest colinux, we will be glad to publish it. Feel free to open a new bug if you want to help us with that. We can aid you if you're not familiar with the xml syntax used at gentoo.org. Thanks for reporting.
