Description DEMAINE Benoît-Pierre, aka DoubleHP 2005-12-22 13:14:52 UTC
happened tonight again:
I add a comment in a bug I am neither reporter nor assignee

I am not added to CC

I never get feedback on my comment.

Tonight, 15mn after leaving my comment, I have the magical idea to come back to the bug to check whether I am CC or not ... there was already the answer to my new question; if I had not have the magical idea to come back, I d have never been notified of the answer.

1/ AFAIK there's no such option in Bugzilla, feature requests need to go upstream.

2/ There's a check-box just under the comment field, is it that hard to check it before clicking on commit?

3/ Finally, I'd find such a feature as *extremely* annoying, I really don't want to be CCed on every bug I comment on, as I would end up being CCed on all bugs marked as a dupe/invalid/closed/wontfix/whatever (i.e., any resolution that requires a comment). That's really the last thing I need, I'm already watching various aliases, don't need to receive bugspam twice/multiple times.
