I would really be pleased to be able to use calendar from E17 
http://www1.get-e.org/Resources/Modules/
just by emergint it like any other modules.

Maybe you could make this bug attached to the maintainer of x11_plugins/e_modules ?

Calendar modules need a total rewrite as the whole way to think of a modules as change in the developpement process. So DoubleHP, if you wan't it back fix it! I try by looking a the code and I not good enougth for such a big work.
