SDL appears to be installed
Error - we have detected a version of faac that has libmp4v2 support
and no copy of mpeg4ip-config. This means faac was built with
faad2 and the libraries will be incompatible.
Please reinstall faac without mp4v2 support

This is picked up on my ~x86 box by the ebuild, and it exits with a friendly error. However on my ~amd64 I get the above error. Unmerging faad2, then upgrading faac as it says in the x86 ebuild error fixes this.

Surprisingly :-) exactly the same issue with media-libs/libmp4v2
Comment 3 Olivier Crete (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-20 07:00:38 UTC
ok both fixed in 1.4.1.. removed test and replace with appropriate deps
