Description Leonardo Ferreira Fontenelle 2005-12-19 22:13:39 UTC
When emerging gaim, the following message appears:

checking speex.h usability... no
checking speex.h presence... no
checking for speex.h... no
configure: error: Could not find a libspeex version that have the speex_encode_int() function. Please install libspeex=1.0.5 or libspeex>=1.1.6

Uncommenting the vv part of the ebuild (and the startup notification one) and setting the vv USE flag was enough to let the compilation complete and the app run (although I didn't test it throughly).

don't assign bugs if you don't know who the maintainers are

gaim-2.0.0_beta1-r1 was added to the tree, if you would be so kinda as to try again with the update and re-file the bug if needed I would greatly appreciate it.

Re-emerged it; so far, everything works fine. Haven't tried voice and video yet.
