Description Dmitrij D. Czarkoff 2005-12-19 12:26:58 UTC
ktorrent stops responding without any visible reasons.
Comment 1 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-19 12:49:04 UTC
Reopen with some *information*... like - version, emerge --info etc. etc. etc.

Comment 2 Dmitrij D. Czarkoff 2005-12-19 13:13:33 UTC
Sorry...

ddc@czarkerlaptop ~ $ emerge -p ktorrent && emerge info

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Comment 3 François Steinmetz 2005-12-29 18:24:57 UTC
same problem here... it freezes after a few seconds or minutes without any special action.
I tried to revert to stable version 1.0 but it still crashes.
I also tried with -arts, still the same.
Nothing special on output with ktorrent --debug

I recently switched to gcc 3.4.4 and don't think I had this problem before, so there could be a link...

Comment 4 Pietro Franchi 2006-01-02 10:41:22 UTC
Does the new version (1.2_rc1) do the same?
Comment 5 François Steinmetz 2006-01-03 12:27:20 UTC
No, looks like upgrading to 1.2_rc1 solved the problem... no freeze anymore, for the whole day.
Comment 6 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-21 16:44:57 UTC
