Description Nik Raub 2005-12-17 14:37:28 UTC
kdebase/kdebase-kioslaves-3.5.0 compile fails in test phase when using FEATURES="-maketest".

FEATURES="-maketest"  emerge -va --oneshot kde-base/kdebase-kioslaves

compiles without complaint.

Here's the output of emerge with the error:

probably unrelated to your report, but your Qt is compiled with gcc 3.3 and you're now compiling KDE with gcc 3.4. You should re-emerge Qt under gcc 3.4
Comment 2 Attila Stehr 2006-03-05 11:35:31 UTC
I have this problem with kdebase-kioslaves-3.4.3.

Nik: Please remove the version number from the summary - thx!

disabled the broken tests in 3.5.4-r1

*cough*
Shouldn't the code be fixed instead of just disabling test which indicate that somehing is wrong?

The tests are for developer purposes, not for production use. At least one issue is (attempted to be) fixed (by disabling) for KDE 3.5.5, but you're free to uncomment the lines in the future 3.5.5 ebuilds and report directly at https://bugs.kde.org/.
