probably unrelated to your report, but your Qt is compiled with gcc 3.3 and you're now compiling KDE with gcc 3.4. You should re-emerge Qt under gcc 3.4

Same problem here, using GCC 4.0.2 and KDE split ebuilds. disabled the broken tests in 3.5.4-r1
*cough* Shouldn't the code be fixed instead of just disabling test which indicate that somehing is wrong?
The tests are for developer purposes, not for production use. At least one issue is (attempted to be) fixed (by disabling) for KDE 3.5.5, but you're free to uncomment the lines in the future 3.5.5 ebuilds and report directly at https://bugs.kde.org/.
