Its an extension of the existing Powerbook HD issue ... Q : When I try and install Gentoo on my iBook my internal hard drive does not show up. What should I do? A : Pass hda=16383,16,64 to the kernel at boot time. That should solve your problems. You can do this at yaboot prompt by typing boot hda=16383,16,64. Hope this is useful to others! Mark H.
