UseBB is a quite new forum package for PHP (4 and 5) and MySQL. It is developed under the GNU GPL. It would be nice to see it in Portage. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
I can't see any ebuild... is this a request?
I tried writing one based off phpBB's ebuild but couldn't manage to. If anyone wants to write an ebuild for it...

Created attachment 100498 [details] usebb 1.0.3 ebuild is now avaiable first ebuild hav a little error: ... webapp_serverowned ${MY_HTDOCSDIR}/sources webapp_serverowned ${MY_HTDOCSDIR}/sources webapp_serverowned ${MY_HTDOCSDIR}/languages ... now: ... webapp_serverowned ${MY_HTDOCSDIR}/docs webapp_serverowned ${MY_HTDOCSDIR}/sources webapp_serverowned ${MY_HTDOCSDIR}/languages ... and work fine. :)
There are a few glitches. The mysql USE flag shouldn't be there, as UseBB 1 depends on MySQL all the time. Also, there are more doc files to be saved (AUTHORS, COPYING and the index.html's CSS and images). At last, there's no postinstall-en.txt in the package. Another one should be written with instructions to complete the database installation and put into CVS together with a better ebuild.
The mysql flag is just fine (unless UseBB is so broken that it can't use a remote database).
