Using blackdown-jdk-1.4.1_beta when building the xmlsearch project it bombs out complaining 
about assert being a keyword in 1.4 (or something, lost it from my history now :( ). 
I switched to using a 1.3 jdk and it worked fine. 
Something probably worth checking for in the ebuild.

fixed in openoffice-1.0.1-r2.  i havn't backported the fix yet b/c it still 
needs more testing, try it out ;-)
