There is a initial package available which formerly was part of kuroo itself. It is only the watcher 
application compiles and works as before. 
 
Here you get the ebuild:

Works fine for me, but would be nice to see in portage...

The ebuild is updated with rss dependency:

Well seems as upstream won't continue this package...
