Description Harald van Dijk (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-12 22:23:41 UTC
Trying to upgrade k3b-0.12.8 to 0.12.9 doesn't work here.

emerge k3b results in
[...]
checking if plugins should be compiled... yes
checking if src should be compiled... yes
configure: error: conditional "include_ALSA" was never defined.
Usually this means the macro was only invoked conditionally.

!!! Please attach the config.log to your bug report:
!!! /var/tmp/portage/k3b-0.12.9/work/k3b-0.12.9/config.log

!!! ERROR: app-cdr/k3b-0.12.9 failed.
!!! Function econf, Line 495, Exitcode 0
!!! econf failed
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge k3b
Actual Results:
See above

Expected Results:
Bring happiness and joy :)

If I put alsa in my USE flags, configure finishes correctly.

Comment 1 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-13 01:30:42 UTC
There's a probably bug in the configure of upstream k3b package, I have a
patch that should fix it, currently test-building it.

Comment 2 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-13 01:39:05 UTC
Added patch to our ebuild, and committed the fix upstream.

Comment 3 magesor 2006-10-21 07:55:44 UTC
This error appears again in k3b-1.0_pre2 %(
